We are one of the leading worldwide residential pest control services. The increased awareness and the rising concern for the safety and protection of property have led to our service being recession-resistant. Our brands offer a wide variety of services that meet customers’ needs, improving our service line’s profitability. These are a few of our brands providing residential services:
We control 20% of the commercial pest control market in North America. Only 3% of our commercial business comes from our 20 largest accounts. Mosquito control, rodent exclusion, termite control, and bird work are a few of the services we provide commercial customers.
Like our residential business, our commercial service line is also recession-resistant. One of the reasons this service line performs well is that companies don’t want to risk their reputation with a pest issue. These are a few of our brands providing commercial service:
Each year, termites cost Americans more than $5 billion in damage, and unfortunately, most homeowner policies don’t cover the repairs. We offer several treatment options for customers, including wood treatments, liquid soil treatments and Sentricon Baiting systems. Our brands, HomeTeam and Northwest, provide pretreatment services to homebuilders.
To keep customers safe and their property pest-free, we also offer wildlife and ancillary services. These services include wildlife control and removal, floor and drain cleaning and home insulation services. Some of the brands that perform these services include:

By investing in technology, we have improved customer satisfaction, reduced costs and increased efficiency with our technicians and administrative tasks. The programs that have helped us achieve these measures are Business Operations Support System (BOSS), our branch operating system, Virtual Route Manager (VRM), Orkin 2.0, BizSuite and InSite.
Business Operations Support System (BOSS), our branch operating system, is a smartphone application that puts technology in the hands of our technicians. It allows customers to pay for their service immediately with a credit card and receive a copy of their service ticket. It also allows customers to communicate with administrative staff to address queries like rescheduling and billing questions.
Our Virtual Route Manager (VRM) optimizes the technicians’ daily schedule and provides the technician with the most efficient route possible. Using VRM has saved us 5% in mileage per technician.
Our Orkin 2.0 program takes routing and scheduling to the next level. Orkin 2.0 allows the administrative staff to intake new service requests, quickly view where the technicians are located along with their schedules for the day and then promptly add the service call to an available technician and optimize their adjusted route.
BizSuite is an iPad application for our commercial representatives. The application allows the service representative to complete a service quote and provide a scale drawing of the customer’s facility that includes all pest issues. Additionally, the application enables the representative to draw up a proposed contract.
InSite is a web reporting tool that allows commercial customers to monitor their pest control treatments and activity at their facility. It even allows customers to access information for multiple locations.
